I am trying to get a 0% interest credit card. In the past I have not been successful and I was wondering if I could get some assistance with this matter. I would like to know what guidelines credit card companies use to make their decisions when approving a consumer for a 0% interst card. If I have had a collection in the past 12 months (that has been paid) will that disqualify me? What about late payments, even if I am not currently delinquent? Also I would like to know how much they base their decision off of the credit score. If you could help me out with these questions, I would appreciate it very much!
Thanks, Andrew Arnold. |

Answer:
0% APR cards are mainly for good credit score, but there are cards for lower credit scores, too. In the majority of cases they provide 0% APR for intro period, which is followed by regular APR, depending on the credit card offer. As for the details on your credit report, they matter, of course, but if you have good credit and some delinquencies in the past, the bank may offer less beneficial terms on the card you've chosen, but you'll get the approval.

can i get approved and get a cc number instantly online ready to use and make online purchases? |
 |
Answer:
Instant online approval doesn't usually mean you can immediately start using your credit card. If you look through instant approval credit cards, you can find something suitable for you, but you should read terms&conditions carefully to know how your credit card works for sure.

How do I respond to a mailed offer? |
 |
Answer:
If you were pre-approved for a credit card by mail, you receive an activation number and instructions how to use it - either you go to a web-site and enter the activation number or you call the given number and tell them your AN and they activate your card.

What are the qualifications for american express good credit credit card? My lowest score is from Transunion at 688 up to 725 at equifax and 724 on experian. I have a paid in full chargeoff from Aug. 2001It isn't even correct info on the report , but I am having no luck getting it removed. It states it was paid thru a bankrupcy wage earner plan. This is totally false as there was no bankrupcy filed or declared. Any suggestions?I applied for a good credit AMEX and was turned down for the reason of Bankrupcy with a chargeoff. There is no bankrupcy under public records. The term is in there associated with the paid charge off.
Help please |

Answer:
According to our table of credit scores, you have a good credit since the highest score is 725. In fact, all the scores should coincide with each other. So you'd better stand on your own and dispute the inaccuracies in your credit report. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, you have the right to dispute them for free. If you find a mistake in your credit report, call or apply to the credit agency. The agency will check with the source of the information and send you updated info. The dispute process can last for up to 30 days then. If you still disagree with the info, you can add your own statement to the credit report. File a short statement with the consumer reporting agency. Explain the nature of the discrepancy in no more than 100 words. Your statement will become part of your credit file. It will be included each time credit agencies access your credit file, while the disputed item remains in your credit file.

Hello,
My situation; I filed chapter 7 bankruptcy (jointly with my husband). Since then we have been seperated. I am now losing my automobile, and paying back monies from last years taxes, and then some. I am paying out more money than If I had not filed. Now living on a low income with a child to care for, I am in a financial crisis. My question is this; Can I reverse only my part of the bankruptcy? What effects will that have? Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Cynthia

Answer:
Your creditor can get money from one of you who is thought liable for the debt or from both. Now, when you are responsible for half of the debt, you'd better go to BANKRUPTCY court. DIVORCE courts have the power to assign responsibility for payment of debts to one of the spouses. BANKRUPTCY courts have the power to discharge or release you from paying them.

international fee |
 |
Answer:
Probably, you mean the foreign exchange fee. As for this fee, our credit cards charge 1-2% fee, and this depends on the type of credit cards. See the terms and conditions as some credit cards have no foreign transaction fees available.

Doe credit land offer or do you know of any websites that offer co sign credit cards. |
 |
Answer:
If you want to be a cosigner, or find a cosigner to apply for a credit card, you should be or find a person with a good credit and apply for any good credit card. After that a second person can be signed as a co-holder of the credit card. Goos credit cards can be found at Credit-Land.com or any other site.

Can you apply for a card if you have current debt or is it just past debt? I am currently paying off debt, but would like to rebuild as I do it. |
 |
Answer:
You can apply for a bad credit card with the case like yours. Thus you will accumulate more points for your credit score.
